Did you ever wonder how animations are made?
Animations are just a series of still pictures viewed one after another at a fast rate so they appear to be moving. Animated cartoons in the movies and on TV are made up of many thousands of drawings. Animated graphics that I use in my web site are made up of fewer drawings, mostly from two to maybe a dozen. On this page I have put some animated drawings that are made up of just two drawings.
First is the little waving drawing of me that I use on my web pages for links. Two drawing, each with an arm in a different position are used to form one animated drawing.
Two Drawing Animations
| Below I have some two drawing animations. If you pass the mouse pointer over each animation you will see the second drawing. Passing it backand forth will animate the drawing. (Note: You may have to wait a minute the first time and this may not work with older browsers.) | ||||
If these worked for you pass your mouse over the title on the "Fun Activities" page.
Thanks to Grayson for the idea for this page....
